Coach Ferris – Detroit Raised. Purpose Driven. People Focused.
Growing up in Detroit shaped Ferris with resilience, discipline, and a strong sense of identity. He spent his youth involved in sports—football, boxing, and baseball—but his real strength showed early in mentorship. During high school, he joined “Project Manhood,” a leadership and character development program for young men. By 10th grade, he served as the group’s treasurer, realizing he had both the heart and voice to guide others.
After high school, Ferris enlisted in the U.S. Navy and later pursued education in wind energy and renewable resources. Life pushed him through challenges and transitions, but those experiences refined his purpose. Returning to his foundation of faith and discipline, he committed to personal development—physically, mentally, and spiritually. In time, he transformed his lifestyle, lost over 60 pounds, rebuilt his strength, and rediscovered his passion for helping others do the same.
Ferris earned multiple credentials, including:
- NASM Certified Personal Trainer
- NASM Virtual Coaching Specialist
- NASM Nutrition Coach
- NASM Physique & Bodybuilding Coach
He began training everyday individuals from all walks of life—helping them build confidence, improve form, understand nutrition, and reconnect with their personal “why.” His philosophy is simple:
The body follows the mind, and the mind follows the spirit.
